Review Details
First of all, every home needs a first aid kit. One box where everything is for a quick emergency.
Peroxide- use to clean sores and make dogs vomit (like when they swallow or eat something they should not have).
Gauge- help with sores, cuts.
Vet Wrap- to wrap the wound
Antibiotic Cream or ointment-put on sore or wound before wrapping
Scissors-to use gauge, tape, wrap.
Medical tape- to hold the wrap in place
Twissors-for splinters and stuff
Cotton balls- to help in cleaning up wounds and applying meds.
Q-tips- to help in cleaning up wounds and applying meds.
Plastic Gloves-so you don't have to touch the wound directly
Band-aids- to cover the wound or sore.
A list of emergency numbers like emergency squad, fire dept, police or sheriff, doctor, hospital, poison control.
Okay that is a basic list. You can add more, but not less. Trust me, you will need it some day.
Now for the Bow Ow Dog First Aid Kit. There is a book inside that talks about what to do in case of an emergency with your dog. There is so many things in this book that I never knew. But I do now.
So if you can find the Bow Ow Dog First Aid kit, get it. Then add your human stuff to it also. One first aid kit per house and make sure everybody knows where it is.
