Pros: keeps long hair tangle free till next shampoo, does not make coat oily, conditions coat, keeps matts out, smells great
Cons: Because it is a mist, it can be hard to spray--probably because you don't need much
I Love Love Love this conditioner. It is made by Pet Silk and is called Rainforest Leave-In Conditioner. I found it on Ebay and got an excellent deal.
My shihtzu, Lacey, hated being combed because of the matts, or tangles she would get. After shampooing and conditioning her, I just spray this on and let it dry. As I blow dry her, the tangles just slip right out. It's amazing.
My daughter also has a shihtzu and takes her pup to a groomer and they don't use this stuff--her pup always has problems with the tangles and matts. She had such problems that she just resorted to getting the 'puppy cut' all the time, keeping it short, but still gets matts at the base of her tail.
Seriously, if you have a long haired pup that hates being combed because of tangles or sensitive skin--this is the product to get. Like I said, it doesn't make her hair oily, just silky smooth and smells great.
The price is great because it lasts a long time.
