I use this everytime I wash my dog. It totally speeds up the rinsing process. Before I used to use a rinse ace, which made my thumb really sore since it took so long to rinse my dog. She's got a double coat, and I wash her really good to get down to the skin. That way she isn't stinky right after or at least for a week, and she's an outside dog.

This wand is a long metal wand that has holes on the curved inside. When you turn on the water, it makes an arc, which joins together and then splits out again.

There is a lever to turn off the water or lower the flow.

I use the sides to gently press the water out of the fur and get the water down to her skin. It works great.

For her underside, I just pull it back a bit so that the part where the water joins together into a rough stream can get that area rinsed. But for her back and sides, I use the wand up close and sometimes touching her so that the water can flow under the fur and really get all the soap out.

The wand has a sponge like handle area, which takes a while to dry off. I leave it in the sun to dry, then put it away so that the sun doesn't deteriorate it.

So far it is still working great, and I've used it for over a year.

My dog since has been less itchy after baths, and I saved water too.
