This is a good brush for a dog who enjoys the bonding process of owner/dog brushing. It doesn't REMOVE as much hair as the metal type, but it works well with dog's hair who is brushed on a regular basis. It has natural bristles, so it's good for the dog's coat, (better than plastic).
I like this a lot, but not as much as my dog!! :o)
