I did a lot of reading up on Bulldogs before getting Jake. My husband always wanted one but, knowing I was going to be the one to assume the responsibility of it, did my own research first. Bullys are wonderful, loving, historical dogs that will require a lot of love and attention. This is where I learned of Cherry Eye for the first time so I was not too alarmed when Jake got it. This book prepared me for everything I have encountered so far. Oh, and by the way, I AM the one who has assumed full responsibility as suspected ;-)... and he is the best dog I have ever had!
