Supporting Shelter: Jackson County Animal Shelter

Supporting Rescue: Jackson Co. WV Humane Society

Pros: Great Idea, Seems safe.

Cons: Very expensive, loud, dogs and cats are terrified of it. sits in the box now.

I purchased this because it seemed like a great idea, an easy way to trim my large breed dogs nails. I waited over 8 weeks for it to get to me, then we were all excited to use it and it took over an hour for my husband to assemble it(maybe he is just slow) anyway the dogs are terrified of it and the cat hides if you even look at the box. We don't like it.

I hope you still have your Peticure. Google "Peticure" and view the original web site. (Appears first on my list when I did this.) There are videos available for you. One is training your pet to get used to the tool. It appears fairly easy to get your dog used to the sound. The site tells you how to do this. If I had a dog, I would certainly purchase and do the training. However, I have two cats and know there is NO WAY they would ever get used to it. After two years, they still get skittish when the trash is picked up! I feel it is a great tool and only wish I had the confidence that I could train my cats to get used to it!
