Gotta have these. We use them under the rugs in our house bc when our dog, Sammi, gets in playful mode, she'll run around with a toy in her mouth which could mean her taking a spill and rugs getting messed up constantly. She and my cat also use their paws to "make nests" on the rugs sometimes and the backing means that they don't crumple up the rugs half as much as they could otherwise.
