when we adopted ember from the st. louis pound, the worker who helped us had one of these attached to his belt, and he would play with the cats with it. Maybe this is why this is the only toy that ember truly plays with. It could hold her interest for hours, she never gets tired of it, while other toys only hold her interest for a short time. Oddly, our other cat doesn't seem to understand the concept.
