Reiki is part of the occult. It is not approved by Jesus. If you want to get spiritual, and healing for you or any one that you love, or for any animal, pray to Jesus Christ, he is the healer, not reiki.

I want to stress how inaccurate the statement that "Reiki is part of the occult" is. As a Reiki Practitioner myself, I can assure everyone that ALL that I do is connected to God. As a matter of fact, many nuns are Reiki Practitoners themselves. Although I appreciate this woman's concern, as there is a lot "out there," I can assure everyone reading this that the work I share as a Reiki Practitioner is for my client's highest good and it is all connected to God. I NEVER take credit for anything that happens in a Session.....I always tell my clients to give thanks to their Creator. I never profess to be a healer; that can only happen between God and the client. I'm an energy worker....not an energy healer; if anything, the work that I share connects people CLOSER to God/their Creator. I hope that this information clarifys any misunderstandings anyone might have. God Bless.

I'm not sure where you are getting your information but if you are going to make such a damaging statement I would hope you would have some type of fact to back it up. And I would venture to guess you can't find any facts. Reiki is not harmful and it does not claim to heal. Translated, Reiki literally means spiritual energy. I can't imagine why you think Reiki isn't approved by Jesus. In my opinion, Jesus would want us all to practice Reiki to help bring balance and harmony to our lives. And speaking of Jesus, didn't he teach us tolerance? Perhaps you should take some time to read the book you are so quick to criticize or read reputable information about Reiki before you make such disparaging remarks about something you know nothing about. God bless you.
