I initially used this as a supplement when I was feeding my dog dry food (I have since switched to making her food myself) but she LOVES this stuff (it smells like sausage). Her favorite flavor is the Lamb and Rice (it also comes in Chicken and Beef). I just cut it up into small pieces (keep 'em small, you don't want to spoil their dinner!) and start training. I was able to teach her many commands using this as an incentive. It doesn't upset her stomach and she really likes the taste.
