When I would go on business trips and return, the friends who took care of my dog would feed him and treat him way too much and he would gain up to 5 pounds. Time for a diet, and i would use the Hill's "light" bites to achieve that weight loss. It is not good for a dog to be overweight so if a dog is predisposed to weight-gain, i recommend this food as a constant in the dog's diet. i switched on and off this food as needed.
