Review Details
I contacted the company before I started feeding my dog anything from Eagle Pack. I wanted to know more about the offerings. I was impressed at the time their representative spent with me, and I had received several e-mails helping me decide which type of food to choose for my sensitive dog. That means a lot to me. I also like that it's available at my local Pet Supplies Plus so I can easily access it. And Riley seems to love the taste. We had fed him a prescription hydrolyzed protein diet, and he would choke on the huge pellets. These ones are much smaller. Even our cats have eaten them. After a month of feeding, Riley hasn't had any digestive issues, but he still has a minor rash on his belly. It's better than it was on the previous food, but we may not be out of the woods yet. In the interim, I feel safe with this food. It hasn't been on the recall list, and the ingredients are all very good. I've painstakenly analyzed a lot of dog food ingredients, and this is one of the better ones out there.
