I live in South Texas where fleas and ticks thrive. They surface every spring and create havoc for pet owners in this area. Tick fever and infestations are not uncommon. I tried Frontline and it worked very well. It must be a part of a multiple step process. You must treat your yard, the pet's bedding and the perimeter of your home at the same time as your pet and it works best to groom your pet and have them dipped before application. It worked well for us.
