A double row of teeth flea comb is the best at removing and "trapping" those unwnted fleas. While your regular versions work well at combing the fleas out, the double rows trap the fleas between them. I then dip the comb into a bowl of water, the fleas come out easily, then drown (fleas can not get themselves out of water). This is a great style of flea comb - there are very few "escapees".
