We use Frontline Plus for our dogs. We find it the most effective way to eliminate fleas and ticks, which are quite prevalent where we live. The instructions don't mention this, but our vet said we shouldn't apply Frontline Plus until two or three days after bathing a dog. We used to apply it the same day as the baths, and that's why it wasn't completely effective.
I remember the days when dogs were tortured by fleas and allergies from flea bites, so Frontline Plus is a blessing. However, long-term effects from continued usage are worrisome.
