Horrible way to train. I hate these, just spend the money and put up a fence. These shock the crap out of your animal. Why would you want to use this? I know it's cheap, but what's the real cost?

i just have to tell you i think that you are wrong about the invisible fence. i have a corgi, yellow lab, and black lab mix and they all adapted well. it is not jolt of electricty or a taser gun, just a tingle.
I agree with JoJo! Forget those stupid electric fences and buy a real fence!

If you have an underground fence and it is "shocking the crap" out of your dog then your dog has not been properly trained and you have not worked with a company who ensures the proper settings for your pet(s). This is absolutely not the typical result. We have three black labs on our system and we love it. They run all over the yard and know their boundaries. It is awesome!
