I have used these gates for years in my home to block off rooms and separate fosters. They work well and last pretty well, unless you have a chewer. They are easy to install and require no tools, which is nice. However unless you are tall they are abit difficult to step over and if you have your hands full they are very hard to open and close. I have had a few dogs that could climb these but you can add another on above to slove that problem.
