Pros: Small bites, apparently it tastes good and is helpful to the coat.
Cons: Has a residue that can stain carpeting, kind of pricey.

Review Details

My toy poodle has a thin coat and had a bald spot on her hind quarter. When I went out of town for two weeks, my mother baby-sat for me. In that two week stint fine hair began to grow in the bald spot. I bought Royal Canine and have continued to feed my poodle the food. It's been Three months now and her coat is still thin but the former bald spot has hair; it's not completely filled in, but looks better.

I actually don't care what she looks like as long as she is healthy. At this point, I will continue the food to see if she has any more energy and will see if her next blood work at the vet has any changes.

It is kind of pricey, but comparitively speaking not a big deal. I'm into quality.

I tried to mix in a little soft Eukanuba, but amazingly she picked out and ate the hard food (Royal Canine) and left the Eukanuba.
