We use this ointment on many of the dogs here at our shelter. It is very effective at treating a variety of eye ailments - it is just not very easy to use - which is probably not something the manufacturer can do anything about! Getting the ointment from the tube into the eyes of a squirming, uncooperative dog is a challenge, but the benefits make the struggle worth it.
