Pros: Prevents licking
Cons: animals hate them
Unfortunately, our shelter uses quite a few ecollars since we do so many large dog spay/neuters. We always recommend that owners get ecollars for the large male dogs to prevent licking.
The 3m collars seem to be the best choice for us. We prefer the ones that snap together, that do not have to fit through a collar.
