Pedigree is absolute junk - run, don't walk, away from this brand

Pros: Um . . . none (I would have given it a zero rating if I could)

Cons: Too many to list - try indigestible and toxic ingredients backed by a familiar name for astronomical sales?

Visit this webpage, it's very comprehensive and explains everything I'd say here without taking up comment space. :)

And it's not just Pedigree - Ol' Roy, Iams, Beneful, Alpo, Purina - I know they're cheap, but goodness, you may as well feed your dog Banquet frozen dinners and rotted carcasses.

I'm not being overly dramatic - please, if you love your pet, as I know everyone here does, feed them something that won't kill them and give them a miserable, disease-ridden life. You truly are what you eat - do the research.

I've also commented on Authority Harvest-Baked dog food (which is one of the foods I do recommend); you can find more information there.

Thanks, everyone, and good luck with your pets!

You have it exactly right! But sadly there are worse dog foods on the market that make people think they are good
