Blue Buffalo is the best food available at Petsmart

I switched my dogs to Blue Buffalo when I had a rescue greyhound that seemed to have food allergies. As it turned out, it was Stage 4 lymphoma. :-(

I spent two hours at Petsmart reading every single food label, armed with a little bit of dog food consumer training gleaned from a veterinary nutrition specialist (at Ohio State Vet Hospital)... I concluded that Blue was the best quality food in the whole store.... fewer grains, more real meat, lots of choices, no preservatives, etc.

My greyhound and Labrador retriever did beautifully on the salmon based diet. After the greyhound passed (may he RIP), I switched the Lab to the senior dog formula, and now I am feeding my 8-month old Chihuahua the small breed formula. Every dog has thrived on their foods.

My Lab, in particular, has a very sensitive stomach, and foods like Eukanuba, IAMS and Science Diet make her throw up. She's done beautifully on Blue Buffalo, even when I've changed her from one formula to another.

If you check the website, you'll see that Blue pays special attention to making sure their foods are healthy for dogs with cancer. In fact, it's just a good idea to go to their website. They have a lot of good information on it!
