I got a sample of this and the dogs ate most of it, not all off it. I found out later they were on the pet food recall list (for kitten food) but I told myself I wouldnt give my animals any food from anyone that was on the list at all. If they got poison in there food once they can get it again.

Just to let you know - the recall that Blue Buffalo had for the canned dog food and the 3 and 7 lb kitten bags of dry, was ONLY because the manufacturer of the food was not following the recipie, adding ingredients in different orders and such, it had nothing to do with the melamine or gluten recalls that were killing animals - the Blue Buffalo recall was VOLUNTARY. Please call the company to find out more information - it is a wonderful food and was not at all a part of the terrible and tragic recall that you may think.
