Review Details
My dog was recently treated for tapeworms with droncit. It was effective and did the job like I was told it would. However, 10 pills cost me $65! For a fairly simple problem like tapeworms I was appalled at how expensive it was to treat.

There is a generic of droncit called praziquantel that is less expensive and works just as well. I would recommend that anyone who has a dog with tapeworms and is getting a prescription to treat them ask for a generic brand, ask for just the written prescription, and get it filled for cheaper by a pet pharmacy instead of the vet.
