Review Details

Thes instruments are just like the ones the doctor uses. You must be careful not to damage your animals mouth or cause infection. You should consult your vet and make sure your pet doesn't need a more intensive cleaning and that there is no infection already going on.

It is unlikely that your dog would get an infection as their gums often bleed when chewing a rawhide or other cleaning type of chew. I would think that only dogs' whose health is already poor might get an infection from a minor nick on the gums. Still, you do need to be careful, and if you don't know how to do it, don't.
