I have 2 cats and a small dog and they LOVE this water fountain. I got it for my cats and then we adopted the dog, and she started using it right away.
Although it doesn't refrigerate the water, its still always cooler than water that just sits out, and not to mention fresher!!
Multiple animals can drink from this at the same time because they can drink directly off of the "globe", or the water dish in front. This way there's no waiting your turn. And my cats really enjoy lapping up water from the side while it flows down.
The "globe" makes it quiet, and since the water is not coming down in one large stream, animals don't tend to play in the water like they would with most other water fountains. Just make sure to keep this filled up because when it gets low, it can get a little noisy.
Drinking more water is beneficial to your animals overall health and this is definitely a great way to encourage that!
