Pros: Does its job
Cons: I generally don't like retractable leashes
I used this while taking care of someone elses dog. It works well enough, but I just don't really care for them. They're sort of awkward. If its length I need, I just use an extra long lead line or somthing. You have better control and it has a more substancial feel to it when your actually holding the leash in your hand instead of a plastic handle.
But, I know some love them.
