My lab is a strong guy so I tried different collars. My vet's assistant helped me put it on my dog the first time and showed me how it worked. My dog continued to push through it and was no fun to walk with the gentle lead. I use a pinch collar which keeps him in control. I feel each dog has his own personality you need to get your dog a collar to fit him and you. This could be the product for you both!
