Maybe if you have a small dog
Pros: works well with small dogs and lazy people
Cons: not good for large dogs, leash biters, or aggresive animals

We refuse to use these at our shelter, but i have used them in the past and liked them for small dogs, however i can see being nervous using one with a medium or large sized dog, the cord is thin and if you don't watch it the dog could easily run to the end of the leash before you can stop them, not recommended for large dogs, leash biters, or aggressive dogs.
