We use the little e-collars for our cats
Pros: Keeps cats from licking or digging at wounds
Cons: Would be nice if they lasted longer

We had to put one of small e-collars on a cat the other day because it would not leave its eye alone. We are putting eye meds in due to a small ulcer. He would rub and rub the eye till he had it swollen. So we had no choice but to put it on him. Within a day the eye looked so much better!
