Our Pit Bull breed chews on his Kong for hours every day,( he's had it for 2 months). For less than 20 dollars it was a very good investment. He's chewed off a few very small pieces. But he usually spits them out. No harm done. When I see this big dog chewing very hard on this rubber toy and it doesn't fall apart,I have to give the Kong 2 thumbs up.
