Depends on the dog and severity of anxiety

Rescue Remedy is something I always keep handy. Whether for foster dogs, my own dogs and thunderstorms, or at a dog show, it's something that I say "can't hurt to try." I've had mixed results, if a dog is already in the anxious mode and stressed, it rarely works. If I give to a dog at least 30 minutes ahead of time, say when I know a storm is approaching, I have better results. It's definitely something to try.
