Pros: Funny and well written
Cons: It covers Marley's whole life, so the end is sad.
I had been meaning to read this book for a while when my friend gave it to me for my birthday. You can tell in how the book is written how much the Grogans loved Marley. I could easily put myself in many of the situations they experienced with Marley and knew how frustrated I would be, while at the same time I couldn't help but laugh and fall in love with Marley. Even though I knew how the book had to end, I couldn't help crying and I am not usually one to cry over books or movies. I still haven't seen the movie, but plan to have plenty of tissue on hand for the end.
