Side Bedding for Warmth

I use bumper pads in my puppy box. It prevents the babies from getting against a cooler surface. I don't put it in the box until the pups have their eyes open, 'cause Mom will sometimes "bury" the pups in her attempt to protect them. But once their eyes are open, and the Mom has lightened up some, the pups can find there way out, if she does cover them up.
They wash up beautifully in the washing machine. A set of two is good. One in the washer and one in use.
