Diluted this has many uses
Pros: Dilute peppermint oil and put on dog's legs to keep away ticks
Cons: strong if not diluted

My holistci vet recommend diluted peppermint oil on my dogs' legs and other parts of their body to prevent ticks from crawling up them when on walks. Seems to work. I also put it around the door ways in my classroom to prevent the parade of ticks from marching in. Remember to dilute otherwise it is way too strong.
