when i visited WAHS over a year ago, i saw that alot of the dogs were still lying on cement. at other shelters most dogs had these 'new beds' that i wasn't too familiar with. in any case, i felt terribly for the dogs who didn't have these comfortable beds to sleep on, so i donated one at christmas. the WAHS is about 45 mins from my house so i can't volunteer or drop off supplies very often. i felt good knowing that i donated something that i know will make the dogs' stay there a little more comfortable. there is a kuranda website that gives you a discount if you ship it to a humane society or animal rescue listed.
