Nice for new mothers

Someone donated one of these to our shelter and while it was too large to use in our cages, I was able to use it for fostering. I used it specifically for a mother cat with very young kittens initially and it worked great because Mom kept wanting to take the kittens behind the toilet in the bathroom. This bed gave her a great place to get a little privacy but also allowed me to have easy access to them. The bed was a nice size for her and 5 kittens. However, after a few washings it failed to hold the shape and now is smushed down and my cats sleep on it like other cat beds. But it was great for that Mom.
