My dog and I love to hike, so we were very excited to get his back pack and start going on longer hikes. He easily carries his own food and water so I can carry less and he gets a better work out. Lately, I've even been using it any time we go out shopping or walking because he is calmer and more focused when he wears it! I've had mine for two years now and it has seen amazing amounts of mud and dirt, but it still holds up as good as new. Only recently a zipper pull broke, but it comes with two pulls, so it still closes. Also, the straps can rub a rash when they get wet or on long hikes, so I wrap them with a towel for comfort. Overall, this is a great product which I recommend for everyone with dogs, especially high energy dogs!
