I've been taking my dogs here for 12 years, I also volunteer at the front desk.
If you want sanity in your life, please take your dog to an obedience class or trainer.
The training at Suffolk Obedience is always positive, they teach YOU to train your dog and to build a rapport. I can train your dog to listen to me, I cannot train him/her to listen to you, only you can, they with show you how.
They will also help with any particular problem, and try to come up with positive ways to solve it.
Because it is a not for profit club, the prices are reasonable and if you want to get into Competition Obedience, Agility or Rally Obedience they offer advanced classes on a pay as you go basis.
