Things to know before bringing your best friend to daycare:
All dogs must pass a "Meet and Greet" to assess their social skills with other dogs as well as with people.
All dogs need to be up to date on their vaccines. Proof or vaccines from your veterinarian must be provided. Vaccinations include: rabies, DHLPP(distemper), Bordatella(with bi-annual boosters), Parvo, year-round flea medications used and proof of a negative fecal test within the last six months. We must see these are up to date BEFORE the interview appointment for the well being of all of the dogs in the building.
Dogs need to be at least 16 weeks old to attend daycare.
We ask that all dogs be spayed/neutered by the time they are 1 yr old or within 6 months of starting daycare--for dogs over 1 year looking to start daycare. However, it is up to our discretion to ask that a dog be spayed/neutered before this time based on the dogs behavior and social skills in daycare. For example, territory marking and dominant/aggressive behavior that MAY be fixed with neutering/spaying.
