Review Details
Poco's Playhouse is a doggie daycare located in Perrysburg, Ohio. The owner has years of experience in animal management and dog behavior. She insists that her staff is trained, and all incoming dogs are evaluated prior to being put into a group situation. At all times the safety of the dogs is the primary concern.
She also carefully monitors the personalities and attitudes of all dogs who attend. When a dog would benefit from more time, she lets the owner know. If a dog is stressed by the high energy environment and would be better off not attending, she tells the owners that too. She is honest with owners about behavior issues which may come up, and always will work with the owners towards resolution of the behaviors.
The owner is also VERY rescue/shelter friendly! She can always be counted on to donate gifts or time or even use of her facility for fundraisers and other events that benefit local rescue groups.
She is also active in promoting awareness of Therapy Dogs work, and she hosts various certification courses for local pet owners.
If you are considering a dog daycare, you can't go wrong with Poco's Playhouse!
