Fountain leaks and can ruin floors!

I purchased the fountain due to the fact my cat loves to drink from the faucet. She loved the fountain, however, after 2 months I had to return the item due to water leaking from it...I came home and every other day after cleaning it out (which was a downfall as it had to be done at least twice a week) but water was all over the floor. The parts to take apart and then reattach were not made very well - as a matter of fact my neighbor has one and now realized that her cat was not drinking that much water (she had to refill daily) it was pooling underneath the device & going into her island in the kitchen! Not a good fountain! :-(

I need to find one that does not leak!
