We always give these to our kitties on their birthday. We have quite a few around the house.
Several things stand out about Dr. Daniels. These are safe toys. There are no little tails or bits and pieces or tiny bells/balls to come off in a cat's mouth.
There are also no elastic strings to wrap around paws and cause pain.
Dr. Daniels gets a thumbs up safety.
Another thing is that he uses very sturdy material to make these toys. Some of ours are old yet have no holes or punctures.
