Pros: KVery young kittens enjoy pouncing each other while on and under this

Cons: The hanging ball toy only stayed attached for 24 hours.

This is a very different shaped piece of cat furniture that I thought I would try with my fosters. It is a bit pricey for being only 19 X 11 X 7 inches. The two different fabric textures provide almost two different pieces of cat furniture. My young foster kittens loved this. They would go underneath the one sideways S shape (like an upside down U), and reach out a paw to get a kitten on top of it.

On the shape that is like a U, the kittens would like to do a group snuggly and sleep in that----all compressed together.

The momma cat would scratch the rougher texture part, and taught her kittens how to do this. I appreciated this instead of her babies scratching at my carpetting or human furniture.

My foster mom cat made short work of the hanging ball toy. She quickly detached it. I had to take it away from her and trim off the stretchy string so no kitty would eat it. Having a toy on it is a nice idea, but not practical with really rough play and rowdy cats.

My really overweight cat has compressed the upside down U part and created a stress in the joint of the 2 U parts in the curve. Attaching wood at right angles is easier to do with nails, so I suspect that the 2 U parts are connected by wood glue.

It is a good product for sleeping and scratching.
