Pros: buy what you need for your "family" or one cat

I find that the more cat furniture pieces that you have, the enjoyment that both you and your cats will have is wonderful. I currently have 6 cat trees, some of which are almost 20 yrs. old.
At the max, I had 6 cats. Unfortunately, age, cancer, etc. take over and now I'm down to two. I've recarpeted parts that I can, but my kids love the furniture. Have never had problems with furniture scratching. Just spread a lot of catnip on the pieces and the cats will be happy to scratch those items instead of your furniture!
