I love this product because my CATS love this product! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars on the "messy" rating and gave it 4 instead is because the cardboard tends to become loose early on, and I have to make sure I gather up the bits and pieces they scratch off and throw them out, so the pieces are not tracked all over the house. Other than that, it's a GREAT product. The cats love it with or without catnip sprinkled on (a nice option, and because some of the catnip falls into the ruts, it keeps the cats busy and happy!), and this is such a reasonably-priced item that I can have a few around the house, and replace them with new ones often. Try this out!!
