Pros: Excellent in removing smell.
Cons: Expensive, don't think it is found in stores.
I love this litter, a crystal litter, made from silicone sand, is little white, roundish grains, which absorb the moisture from cat urine and feces. All you have to do is scoop out the feces and flush them down the toilet. How long it lasts depends on how many cats you have, but you discard it when most of the grains have turned yellow.
They have a website, where you can order it, along with some cleaning products. The instructions say that the used crystals can be added to a compost pile and are degradable back into sand.
I tried several types of alternative cat litters before I found this one, but I like this one the best.

Correction: it is made from "amorphous silica" sand, (not silicone as I mistakenly typed earlier).
