This is a better quality litter pan than most because the sides are higher, keeping more of the mess inside. My Maine Coon can still make a mess, though, but I'm sure he would with any kind. I'm not going to change. The plastic is also of good quality. We had a cheaper one at one point, and it cracked. This one has held up very well.
