I love using this brush for everyday brushing. If used daily you can keep undercoat under control. However if you fail to groom daily & any matting occurs it is difficult to remove knots & mats with this tool. I prefer to use an undercoat rake then. This brush is very soothing to my cat. She seems to like the little masssage action that goes on with the brushing. This brush is easy to clean & use.
