One of my cats is not particularly enthusiastic about being combed. Some of the combs and especially the brushes I've tried before seem too rough on her skin. This comb seems a bit more gentle on her and she tolerates it much better than any other products that I've tried. Also, as someone who has carpal tunnel pain, I appreciate the ergonomic design of the comb.
